COR SUIJK is the CEO Emeritus of the Anne Frank House was President of the no longer continued Contemporary Holocaust Education Foundation in New York, a teachers' in-service training institute.

He is renowned for his efforts to bring the Anne Frank In The World exhibit to over 100 cities in the United States and also to many other places throughout the world. A Dutch Christian, who helped Jews during World War II, he is a survivor of imprisonment by the Germans. In 1965 he was hired by Otto Frank, the father of Anne Frank and as a result of their close 15-year long friendship, Cor was given, for safe keeping, the five pages of Anne Frank's diary, recently being published for the first time.

For over 35 years Cor has traveled and worked extensively throughout the United States, the Far East and Europe. A fluent speaker in several languages, he is intimately familiar with the countries on this trip and their history. Cor will be with the group throughout Europe.

Tour Leader's assistant and son:

Suijk's son Johan is tour guide and will assist where ever possible.
He makes all reservations and assists with planning.
Driving the tour bus in a calm and safe way is one of his specialties.

Ellen Bisping

Ellen Bisping is a high school English and college-prep Reading teacher in
Faribault, Minnesota, holding Masters and Specialist Degrees in
Educational Leadership. Specific areas of her interest include
Holocaust, Human Rights, and Global Education; she organizes conferences
and speakers' presentations on those topics for the Faribault school district.

This interest has guided Ellen's travels to study the Holocaust:
to Israel and Poland with the Jewish Labor Committee and three
summers with Cor's European history tours.

Ellen is a Mandel Fellow with the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in
Washington, D.C. and an Alfred LernerFellow through the Jewish Foundation
for the Righteous in New York City.
She has worked with Cor coordinating three annual "Moving Towards Respect"
conferences for Minnesota.
